Day 3 Wednesday 8 August 2007

I slept well last night!

It was like Piccadilly Circus on the gallops this morning, with strings of horses from all directions. Tom called it rush hour in Upper Lambourn. I’m sure he must be getting tired of all my questions by now but I’m learning so much.

The vet, Caroline, came for her routine Wednesday visit straight after first lot and whilst scoping Ishi Adiva let me look down her wind-pipe, larynx and nose. This was absolutely fascinating to me. I trotted up some horses for the vet to examine. Etoile Argentee was full of beans. A 2yo had shock treatment for her ligament problems. Whilst I have heard of it I have never seen it administered before. I watched another older horse have x-rays but didn’t have time to see Tom take blood.

I took Etoile Argentee swimming again and she walked straight in.
