Declarations and entries for week commencing 3 September 2007

Zaskar runs on Monday 3 September at Wolverhampton in a 2yo maiden auction stakes at 3.00pm. Zaskar is the name of the Anabaa filly that I bought at Tatts Ireland this time last year and is owned by Peter Deal. This is Zaskar’s first run. I have booked Hayley Turner to ride as Richard Kingscote is not available. It will be Hayley’s first ride for me.

Following Max One Two Three’s great winning run on her racecourse debut on Friday at Salisbury it would be nice to win with another 2yo first time out.

Entries

I have entered three 2yo’s for Kempton’s nursery on Wednesday, 5 September, What’s For Tea, Treacle Noir and Adam Eterno. Unfortunately it will be difficult to get a run because they are all lowly rated and there are a number of higher rated horses entered for the race. We will know after about 10.30 am on Monday morning.

What’s For Tea is also entered in the 2.10pm maiden at Chepstow on Friday 7 September. Rainbow Flame is entered in Chepstow’s claimer at 2.45pm on the same day. Gross Prophet is entered for a nursery at Newbury at 2.20pm on that Friday.

Rainbow Flame will try his luck over hurdles and I have entered him for a novice hurdle at Stratford on Saturday 8 September and one at Fontwell on Sunday 9 September.
