Doncaster Yearling Sales 2007
I had a great time at Doncaster last week and returned with five yearlings and one of them has an owner as well! Chris McHale who owned The Perfect Plan with me earlier this year before an injury forced his retirement from racing had taken a Hawk Wing colt to the sale which he had bred himself. Chris has sent him to me to train.
I also bought lot 59 for 10,000 gns. a Bertolini filly out of Bezzaaf. This filly is a half sister to the Anabaa filly, Zaskar, who I run at Wolverhampton on 3 September.
I bought lot 141 a Zieten colt for 17,000 gns., lot 273 a Bahamian Bounty filly costing 9,000 gns. and lot 367 an Auction House colt costing 20,000 gns.
The two fillies and two colts are for sale at cost. Cost will include auction fees, vets examination and transport to the yard. Training fees will also accrue at the rate of £1,000 a month (plus VAT) inclusive of all other expenses.
The pedigrees of these yearlings can be accessed on these sites:
