Declarations w/c 26 November 2007

We have just two horses declared so far this week and, at the moment, no other entries.

Rio Rocket a 2yo sent to us a few weeks ago is declared tomorrow at Wolverhampton in a 7f+ seller at 2.35 pm. She is drawn 9 of 12 and Hayley Turner rides.

On Wednesday What's For Tea runs in the 7.50 pm at Kempton, a 6f handicap, drawn 11 of 12, and again Hayley Turner rides.

We had a successful Open Day on 11 November and it was good to see so many people. We have done reasonably well in selling interests in the yearlings. Details of the various horses for sale are on our website. Perhaps it holds the answer to what to buy your loved one for Christmas!

I would just like to draw your attention to the opportunity to be involved with a jumper if that should interest you. I bought Hope Road, a 3yo gelding by Sakhee (USA) out of Bibliotheque (USA) at the Tatts Autumn Sale for the ONEWAY National Hunt Partnership. One of the 1/6th partners has dropped out so there is this one share available. The cost is £4,000 plus VAT and £304.17 plus VAT a month fully inclusive. Hope Road has not been with me long but I have schooled him and he jumped really well. I'm hoping to run him in December.
